Remaking America

In this remaking of America I notice a void of beautiful writings to support such a remake.  There is a void of beautiful writings and certainly nothing written that would rival the gorgeous language that is characteristic of our founding documents, particularly the brave and profound language that is found in the declaration of Independence. 

 

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

If one is to remake America into a nation of dependents, surely he would right a counter revolutionary document to this foundational document on which our government currently stands.  Since there is no such writing I will help Dear Leader out with this, knowing that he needs prompting to find words and then even comes off as incompetent like he did when speaking of Polish Death Camps this past Memorial Day.

 

I would guess this document, which would be called the Declaration of Dependence, would read thusly.

 

We, the government, impose the following to be truths since they are not self evident, that all men are accidents of nature and will be assured to have an equal station in collectivist society, that they are endowed by the government with certain rights, that among these are Health Care, servitude, and the pursuit of the government’s happiness.

While this isn’t beautiful language like in the Declaration of Independence, there simply isn’t a way to use flowery verbiage around such ideas as serfdom and government control and make it sound good. 

 

The Declaration of Independence is so beautiful, not just because of the beautiful use of the English language, but also because of the lofty thoughts that are so profoundly logical.  It is also beautiful because each of these men were willing to pledge to each other their lives, fortunes and sacred honor with the firm belief that God could protect them and give them victory over the king and the British troops.

 

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

The remaking of America calls on us first of all to rely totally on government for our rights instead of relying on God for our rights.  God given rights never change because God never changes.  In Malachi 3:6, God says of Himself,

 

For I am the Lord, I change not.

Rights that flow from the government, even from a dictatorship, will change at the whim and impulse of those who govern.  God doesn’t change His mind because He is never wrong.  Men change their minds with every change in mood.  Governments will change radically with changes in leadership.

 

For instance, who receives health care might drastically change between administrations.  The Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) will be made up of 15 people.  These 15 will be charged under Obamacare to quickly defund Medicare by denying care and services to those who rely on Medicare.  Under some administrations, this might be accomplished “fairly”.  If the 15 people on this board are like me, they will want to punish those who voted for Obama and caused all this mess in the first place.  There would be one question to determine who would receive health care and who would be sent away.  That question, if I had anything to do with it would be,

 

Who did you vote for in 2008?

This is an extreme hypothetical, but what will the criteria be for this board of 15 bureaucrats?  It will probably be determined by age and health.  If you are past a certain age and/or have health issues, you will be sent home to die.  Obama himself said,

 

Maybe you’re better off, uhh, not having the surgery, but, uhh, taking the painkiller.

Maybe, just maybe, Mr. President, you and 15 other demi-gods shouldn’t be deciding when people die or get treatment.  Maybe you shouldn’t decide what rights to dole out and how to ration those rights “fairly”.  Maybe, Mr. President, you should let God be God and give Him reverence and quit trying to take away and replace rights that only He can give.

 

Our founders had it right that there are times when it is

 

necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…

Mr. President, we are going to dissolve our political bands with you this November when we vote you, the worst President in our history, out of office. 

 

We must restore America to constitutional government, which is a tall order with the destruction you and your fellow Democrats have inflicted on the American society.  You have destroyed our society with the goal of remaking America into the socialist and communist utopian dream that Mark Levin so aptly has called Ameritopia.  The dream is more of a nightmare and the utopia is only utopia for those that love shared poverty.

 

Exit Thought: 

Liberals, if you don’t like a society that is free, don’t destroy it.  There are plenty of utopian socialist societies from which to pick for you and your family.  One of the main problems with liberals is that they don’t build anything, but rather choose to destroy organizations and societies that work and replace it with what can’t work and thereby destroying everything they touch.
